About the Award-Winning Beer Packaging Design: Ken 14 is packaging created for a beer made from domestic barley. The design abstracts the natural scene of the barley fields of Hulunbuir, using white, green and golden colors to recall the growth of barley from seedling to maturity. The layout and text follow the style of old Chinese newspapers, which supports easy reading. The materials include a biobased leather alternative made from spent grain, a non woven fabric, a recyclable kraft paper bag and a biodegradable paper box, chosen to support environmental protection.
This palette has a warming feel, creating inviting warmth.
